Dr Ho Kee Hai

One of the founders and clinical director of CODEN Specialists, Dr Ho Kee Hai was Head of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) and Senior Consultant at the National University of Singapore and the National University Hospital, Singapore. A Colombo Plan scholar, Prof Ho received his early Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training in UK from the Canniesburn Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. He also received the British Medical Fellowship Award for advanced training in the UK.
Dr Ho is an elected member of the Singapore Dental Council. He was President of the Singapore Dental Association and President of the Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons (Singapore). He also holds the Honorary Associate Professor appointment of the University of Warwick.
Dr Ho lectures on facial traumatology, orthognathic surgery and implant surgery to various parts of the world including UK, China, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia. His recent publications focused on his research activities on bone, implant and tissue engineering.
Dr Ng Fooi Chin

Dr Ng Fooi Chin obtained her Masters degree in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1989. Dr Ng furthered her Oral Maxillofacial training in the United Kingdom where she obtained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
In 1991, Dr Ng became the first Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to win the UK Overseas Doctors Training Fellowship award offered by the British’s triple Royal Colleges of England, Edinburgh and Glasgow. This award was opened to multi-disciplinary overseas surgical trainees for advanced surgical training in the UK. With this award, Dr Ng pursued advanced postgraduate training in paediatric and craniomaxillofacial surgery at UK’s renowned Great Ormond Street Children Hospital and trauma, orthognathic surgery and oncology at the University Hospital, London.
Upon return from UK, Dr Ng worked in a group practice at Mt Elizabeth Hospital. In 2003, Dr Ng pioneered the use of real time computer guided navigational surgery for implant placement in Southeast Asia and was an Honorary Consultant and Teaching Faculty for Image Guided Implantology (IGI) navigational system.
Dr Ng was appointed as the Associate Clinical Professor, Director and the Lead of the Masters course in implant dentistry conducted by the University of Warwick and the University of Central Lancashire, UK respectively. These postgraduate programmes train dental practitioners from Southeast Asia and Australia in dental implantology. She was also a founding member of the education foundation, the Institute for Dental Education Advancement (IDEA).
Dr Ng’s key interest is in oral maxillofacial surgery and dental implantology. She often lectures on dental implantology and oral & maxillofacial surgical topics in countries like UK, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. In her free time, Dr Ng also contributed articles to journals. Her most recent contribution is a chapter on Non-surgical Facial Aesthetics in the book “Fundamentals of Orthognathic Surgery (3rd edition)” (in print).
In 2006, together with two colleagues, Dr Ng co-founded her present dental specialist group practice, Coden Specialists Dental Implant Maxillofacial Surgery Aesthetics at the Paragon Medical Centre. Orchard Road, Singapore.
Dr Lee Kwee Jin
BDS (Singapore), MSc (Periodontics) (London), FRACDS (Australia), FDSRCS (Edinburgh)
The founder of CODEN Specialists, Dr Lee Kwee Jin graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1992. He obtained his Masters of Science in Periodontology from the University of London in 1995. Dr Lee obtained dental Fellowships from the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1998.
Dr Lee worked in a specialist dental group practice for 10 years before joining Ho Kee Hai & Partners. He is a member of the Society of Periodontology (Singapore) and British Society of Periodontology.
Dr Lee is a part-time staff at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore.
Dr Chan Nyat Chee
BDS (Singapore), MSc (Conservative Dentistry) (London)
Dr Chan Nyat Chee graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (1973), National University of Singapore and subsequently awarded the NUS Scholarship to study for a Master of Science, Eastman Dental Hospital, University of London.
Dr Chan started his dental career with the Ministry of Health, Singapore, before joining the National University of Singapore (Department of Operative Dentistry) as a lecturer. Dr Chan’s specialty revolves around aesthetic dentistry, implants, crown, bridges and full mouth reconstruction.
Dr Chan is a visiting consultant in prosthodontics at our centre.
Dr Ang Poh Kang
BDS (Singapore), MDS (Singapore), M Orth RCS (Edinburgh), FAMS (Orthodontics)
Dr Ang Poh Kang received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from National University of Singapore in 1993. During his service at the Government Dental Clinic, he won a government scholarship to study orthodontics at NUS.
In 2000, Dr Ang graduated with a Distinction in Master of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) from the National University of Singapore, and received his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was awarded the FAMS and placed on the Roll of Specialists of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Dr Ang has been practicing orthodontics full time since 1997. He was a clinical lecturer for the Orthodontic Graduate program conducted by the National University of Singapore/National Dental Centre.
Dr Ang places great importance in continual professional education and research. He frequently attends orthodontic conferences. He also gave lectures at overseas orthodontic conferences. In his spare time, Dr Ang also contributes articles to the renowned Orthodontic Seminar journal.
Dr Lo Tong Soon
BDS (Singapore), MDS (Orthodontics), M Orth RCS (Edin), FAMS
Dr Lo graduated from the National University of Singapore. He has previously served 2 years as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health & Singapore Armed Forces. He pursued a 3 year graduate programme in orthodontics under a National Dental Centre Scholarship and graduated with Masters of Dental surgery (Orthodontics) degree.
Dr Lo is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (Orthodontics), as well as a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He was previously served as an executive member of the Association of Orthodontics (Singapore) and is currently a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Singapore Dental Association.
Dr David Osborne
BDS (London), MSc (London), LDS RCS (England), MFGDP RCS (England)
David qualified from Guys Hospital in 1980, and obtained an MSc from the Royal London Hospital in 1992. He was awarded MFGDP in 1993 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
David has spent most of his career in private practice, for the last 15 years in Harley Street in London, where he has practiced predominantly as a prosthodontist. His practice however also includes general dentistry particularly involving endodontic treatment. His special area of interest is the aesthetic reconstruction of dentitions using crowns, bridges and implants.
Additionally throughout his career David has had a number of academic appointments. He was a clinical tutor at University College Hospital in the late 1980.
Dr David Loh
BDS (Western Australia)
Dr David Loh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Western Australia, Australia.
Dr Loh has worked extensively in private practice in Perth and Sydney since 2004, with experience encompassing a broad spectrum of general dentistry.
Dr Loh is committed to providing the best service and patient care utilizing the most up to date techniques through continuing education. He has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
Relocating to Singapore with his wife in 2013 to be closer to family, Dr Loh hopes to establish a long and fulfilling career in dentistry in Singapore.
Dr Tsao Huei
Dr Tsao graduated from the University of Singapore in 1971. After two years practising in the Singapore General Hospital dental clinic, Dr Tsao proceeded to set up his dental clinic in the private practice.
Dr Tsao is a dedicated and experienced dental practitioner. He is naturally soft spoken with a caring, attentive and compassionate nature that endears him greatly to his patients.
Since 2014, Dr Tsao joined the Coden Specialists group at Paragon where he provides comprehensive dental care to the patients.
Dr Mok Siew Min
Dr Mok Siew Min was part of the earliest cohorts of the Dental Implantology program conducted by Coden Specialists almost 10 years ago. She has a post-graduate Diploma from the University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom. She had extensive training in the surgical as well as prosthodontic rehabilitation of the dentition using implants, crowns and bridges. She received her undergraduate training from the prestigious University of Melbourne and trained in the Royal Dental hospital on Swanston Street, Australia.
Dr Mok believes in practicing quality and ethical dentistry. Her patients are families who know her commitment to give them the best care possible. She is extremely passionate about dentistry, finds joy in calming the anxious patient and building a trust with the people who have placed their teeth in her hands.
Dr Mok practices part time in Paragon by appointment only. In her time outside the practice, she is enjoying the recent arrival of her baby son and cooking in the kitchen. She has a passion for good food and enjoys travelling the world with her husband tasting yummy food.
Prof Malcom Harris
Prof Malcolm Harris is the Emeritus Professor, University of London and Honorary Professor to the University of Warwick Medical School. He is also the Academic visitor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, St Barts and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Prof Harris conducts postgraduate teaching at our centre.
His research interests include bone pathology, collagen disorders and facial pains.
Prof Harris has published more than 138 papers and is author/editor of over 20 books and dictionaries.
Dr Axel Kirsch
Dr Kirsch is a world renown pioneer and innovator in dental implantology. Born in Germany, he received this doctorate in medicinal dentistry from the University of Freiburg, Germany, In 1995, he designed and founded the renowned Camlog Implant System which is used worldwide.
He has been appointed to the Associate Professorship in the Dept. for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the following universities: Loma Linda University, University of Pittsburgh, Boston University and University of California (UCLA).
His area of specialization includes perio-implant prosthetic rehabilitation, hard and soft tissue management, and research in implant design.
Dr Kirsch, an honorary visiting consultant, teaches advanced implantology procedures at our centre.
Dr Shirley Lim
BDS (Singapore), DDPH (Toronto), FAMS (Singapore)
Dr Shirley Lim obtained her D.D.P.H. in Dental Public Health from the University of Toronto. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore in the specialty of Paediatric dentistry. She now practises, by appointment, at CODEN Specialists.
